Mass extinction data that neglects the visible record on Planet Mars is entirely out of date, shots returned by the NASA Curiosity, Opportunity & Spirit Mars Rovers indicate the shallow sea that covered much of the planet actually boiled away, which means atmospheric pressure must have suffered a dramatic fall, postulate the same type of Solar events [flares] that caused Mars seas to boil have caused periodic mass extinctions on Earth.

There were no dinosaurs in the pre Permian Triassic era, the major lifeforms were mammal like reptiles called Synapsids like the Dimetrodon above, the dinos eventually appeared after evolution got underway again around 10 million yrs after the Permian event, and were wiped out approximately 176 million yrs after that at 66 million years ago in a similar extinction called the Cretaceous Catastrophe, which in this model was also the result of Solar flares.

Creatures that survived the Permian extinction include certain types of marine shellfish, sharks, byozoans which are a group of small animals resembling corals, crinoids relatives of starfishes, ammonoids including the chambered nautilus, the coelacanth and horseshoe crabs. Paleobiology.si.edu.

Despite Mars' very shallow seas boiled away completely and its atmosphere vaporized, on Earth the actual period of lessened atmospheric pressure, that caused the lakes and rivers and the top layers of sea water to boil off was fairly short, water pressure in the deep seas and in the deepest freshwater lakes and rivers prevented their boiling, while the atmosphere had regained enough pressure to halt the process before the wave of boiling gained the depths, unlike on Mars where the atmosphere never regained sufficient pressure for liquid water to exist.

We are gonna say the Snapping Turtle's habit of remaining buried under mud for months at a time enabled it to escape the ravaging Solar Flares and the era of boiling that came in their wake, which precipitated various epochs of Extinction.

The skull of the Alligator Snapping Turtle at right above in common with the Loggerhead Sea Turtle skull at left has an Anapsid Skull which means it lacks temporal fenestra or windows, identifying it as from the most primitive subclass of reptiles that appeared approximately 340 million years ago during the Carboniferous period.

Synapsids which have a single temporal window the most famous of which is the Dimetrodon, a class which appeared in the late Permian.

Yeah yr probly right, this is how we put it .. the solar winds emanating from the flare cycle - if that is what caused them, otherwise there could have been a planetary sized impact on the Sun - that "blew away" the atmosphere on both planets causing their rivers, lakes, seas and oceans to boil, because Mars' gravity was insufficient to hold the vapor it escaped into space.

However on Earth despite the catastrophic drop in air pressure the vapor from the boiling remained gravitationally bound, it condensed in the upper atmosphere and as the surface pressure increased similarly due to massive clouds of steam produced by the boiling, it returned to the surface as rain precipitating vast floods, witness the mud stone overlaying the Permian soil in Dr Smith's shot.

Alright this is another part of the overall theory of cosmic evolution .. understand the spiral arms in galaxies are a density wave, down which particles of Hole Matter shed from the aggregation of black holes at the center of the galaxy travel, trailing expanding emission nebulae in their wake,

That when these density waves intercept the Solar System which is about about every 600 million yrs the Sun and planets are bombarded with missiles, whereas close scrutiny of Luna cratering shows the craters formed in distinctly separate epochs, that we say were concurrent with the galactic spiral waves catching up with the Sun.

So that is one part of it .. check the cluster of volcanoes in the Tharsis Shield on Mars and the ones that formed the Hawaiian Chain of Islands, and be aware of the vast flat volcano that exists on planet Venus which we say extends into the core of the planet.

And postulate they were all caused by the same swarm of high speed projectiles in galactic orbit that are virtually unstoppable, indeed some say the Olgas / Ayers Rock formations in Central Australia - Kata Tjuta / Uluru - are exit wounds, that an impactor went right thru the Earth and came out there.

On Venus when the exhaust from the super volcano rises high and reacts with the vast amount of water vapor that originated in the Sun, sped outward on the Solar wind and condensed in the planet's atmosphere, it produces a protein a la sea foam that forms when sea water mixes with rain.

Radar images returned by successive Russian probes that went to Venus showed ant nests - this information is suppressed however they absolutely did, the single source was a television news report sometime around 1983 / 84, that spoke of the vast flat volcano and showed radar images of it and a perfectly formed conical ant's nest.

Postulate the Venusian ants various tribes of which rule the planet gather the protein fallout and take it to their Queen, that she alone can digest the substance only after it has been in honeycomb structures the worker ants build for a certain period, that the Queen then produces food from her person that sustains the ants.

Sometimes I think I'm "casting pearls at swine" in Jesus' words with this stuff, I'll give y'all the benefit of the doubt at this time I hope you've learnt something.
